2026 - Prediction tool development
Development of EnerValue, a prediction tool to compare remote energy projects options and shows the strongest combined potential in terms of viable operation, local income, risks and community impact for all stakeholder.
2025/26 - EU-LAC Field Validation and Expansion in Latin America
Participation in the EU–LAC Digital Accelerator program to test and validate the solution in remote regions of the Peruvian Amazon,
focusing on data collection and project assessment under challenging field conditions.
2024 - Co-Creation with Customers in Latin America
Development of the first digital modules of the c2e platform, designed to reduce costs and time across the entire electrification project lifecycle. The tools were tested and refined in close collaboration
with Colombian customers, enabling the team to learn directly from real project needs.
2023 - Strategic Pivot to a Digital Platform
Shift from a financing-focused solution to a broader digital platform approach, targeting the full lifecycle of decentralized electrification projects—from site identification to investment readiness.
2022 - Winning the Siemens Energy Passion4Energy Award
c2e won the Siemens Energy Passion4Energy Award for its innovative MVP: a blockchain-based crowdfunding platform connected to the pilot project in Ndiob, Senegal.
The award was presented in the category of societal engagement.
2022 - Power Goes Live, Impact Becomes Visible
Start of electricity production in the village. An impact token was issued to provide supporters with transparent and verifiable proof of the amount of green energy produced and the CO₂ emissions avoided.
2020 - Donation Campaign for Ndiob, Senegal
Launch of a donation-based initiative to support the electrification of the village of Ndiob in Senegal, marking the transition from conceptual work to on-the-ground implementation.
2017–2019 | From Blockchain experiments to a crowd investment platform
The team explored blockchain as a tool for transparent and decentralised financing of electrification projects. Early experiments included the employee-funded “Charity Coin” supporting the SOS Children’s Village in Berlin and a 3D-printed African village demonstrating how financing flows and electricity generation could be tracked. Building on these concepts, the team developed a functioning blockchain-based crowd investment platform.
